Malley’s Dry Garlic Ribs Recalled in Canada

Malley's Dry Garlic Ribs sold in Canada have been recalled for undeclared mustard and soy. The ribs were sold in Alberta at the retail level. The original recall on February 13, 2014 has been updated to include additional products. You can see the long list of products recalled then, also for undeclared mustard and soy, at the CFIA web site. They include chicken breasts, ribs, chicken wings, and pork tenderloin, among other foods, by different brand names ranging form Aunt Edna's to Truly Gourmet and Gourmet Foods. No illnesses have been reported to date. The newly recalled products include Malley's Dry Garlic Ribs in 1362 gram packages, and in 2.27 kg packages. Kettle Brand Recalls Potato Chips for Undeclared Milk

Kettle Brand is recalling a limited run of its potato chips because of potential exposure to milk-based sour cream seasoning, a milk allergen, that is not listed on the label. The recall of 144 cases ia a precaution. The product was distributed to 12 customer warehouses that supply retail stores nationwide. There have been no reports of illness to date. The recalled item is Kettle Brand Bakes Sea Salt Potato Chips in 4 ounce packages. The UPC number is 84114 10984 2 and the best by date is 01MAY14. In Canada, Pies Recalled for Undeclared Milk, Wheat, and Gluten

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Meat Pies Plus are recalling The Pie Guy brand pies for undeclared milk, wheat, and gluten, some of the major food allergies. Anyone with an allergy to milk and/or wheat, or with celiac disease, could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. The original recall on February 5, 2014 has been updated to include additional products. The newly recalled products include Turkey Pie and Vegetarian Pie. ConAgra Recalls 27 Tons of Chicken Noodle Soup

ConAgra of Pennsylvania  is recalling 54,673 pounds, about 27 tons, of chicken noodle soup products because the label is incorrect and does not list wheat and eggs on the ingredient list. Those two ingredients are two of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to wheat and/or eggs could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. The product is 14 ounce microwave bowls Healthy Choice Chicken with Rice with best by date of "JUN092015" on the bottom of the bowl. The establishment number is "P-770" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The soup was made on December 16, 2013 and shipped to retail outlets nationwide in the United States, as well as to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. No reports of adverse reactions have been reported to date. The recalled products are 5-pound plastic tubs of "Walker's All White Chunky Chicken Salad" with packaging dates between June 6, 2013 and January 23, 2014 and use by/sell by dates between July 26, 2013 and March 14, 2014.
