The ham may not be fully cooked due to underprocessing, but it is labeled ready to eat. This product should not be eaten. A recall was not requested because the government believes that the product is no longer available for purchase. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received by the company to date. Nerstrand Meats and Catering Recalls Jerky-Style Products For Improper Processing

Nerstrand Meats and Catering of Nerstrand, Minnesota, is voluntarily recalling three jerky-style meat products that may be adulterated due to improper processing. Minnesota Department of Agriculture inspectors discovered the processing deviation during a routine inspection. No illnesses or adverse events have been reported to the company or to the state to date in connection with this issue. The Nerstrand Meats and Catering products that are recalled include Regular Beef Strips, Cajun Beef Strips, and Smoked Turkey Strips. They were produced between May 1 and October 31, 2019.
