The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Earth Greens salad because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The product is Earth Greens brand Organic Italian Blend Salad. It’s a product of the USA, sold in a 198 gram plastic clamshell package, with UPC number 8 18431 00107 3, Best Before Date of 2012 JL 13, and lot code 2217915MI.
The salad was distributed in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Labrador, Ontario, and Nunavut. There have not been any reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product. The importer of the salad, Sobeys Quebec Inc. of Montreal is voluntarily recalling the product.
