Butterfly Bakery Recalls Muffins For Undeclared Nuts

butterfly-bakeryButterfly Bakery of St. Augustine, FL is recalling blueberry muffins that contain an undeclared allergy, walnuts. No illnesses have been reported in association with this recall. However, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts are at risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled muffins were sold in 14.5 ounce, clear plastic clamshell packages labeled Butterfly Bakery Whole Grain Harvest Berry Muffins, with the UPC 6 43482 60014 8. This product has not been produced since November 26, 2012 but was recently sold at a Price Chopper store located in Schenectady, NY.

The product has been removed from store shelves and is no longer available at retail. Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
