Price Chopper Recalls Frozen Cookies for Undeclared Milk Allergen

Price Chopper Supermarket of Schenectady, NY is recalling three varieties of Burst frozen cookies take contain milk as an undeclared allergen. The recalled cookies, produced by Jacqueline’s Wholesale Bakery are:  Brownie, Almond and Raspberry. Consumers with milk allergies or sensitivities should not eat these products.

Recall SignageThe problem was discovered by one of Price Chopper’s corporate quality assurance agents. All cookies with “sell by” dates of  from September 5, 2012 through June 21,2013 are included.

In addition to announcing this recall, Price Chopper initiated its SoundBite recall notification procedure, which uses information from customer loyalty cards to alert customers that may have purchased the product in question. Customers can return the cookies to the store for a full refund. Those with further questions can contact Price Chopper’s Customer Service Agent by calling  1-800-666-7667 X3 between 8:30AM and 7:00PM Monday through Friday or between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
