Organic Carob Powder and Brownie Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Glaser Organic Farms has been notified by its supplier of a recall of Organic Carob Powder because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of Glaser Organic Farms Carob Powder or another product made with that Powder.

The recalled products are Raw Carob Powder in 8 ounce containers. The Lot number is 0507081456 and the UPC number is 83291005567. Also recalled is Carob Fudgy Brownie in 5.5 ounce containers. The Lot number of that product is 0207211406 and the UPC number is 832910002061. Products were distributed from Mar 7, 2014 through July 23, 2014.

If you purchased either of these products, do not use or eat them. Discard in a closed container or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
