Smoked Fish Recalled for Possible Clostridium Botulinum Contamination

Import Foods Wholesale Inc. in St. Paul, Minnesota is recalling several types of smoked fish after the Minnesota Department of Agriculture found that the product was not properly eviscerated. The viscera, or guts, of fish can be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause the very serious foodborne illness botulism.
