Hostess Snack Cakes, Donuts Recalled for Undeclared Peanut

Hostess Brands is recalling 710,000 cases of snack cakes and donuts after being notified by a supplier, Grain Craft,  that certain lots of its flour may have been contaminated with undeclared peanut residue. Consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts should not eat these products as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. At the time of the recall, the company had received two reports of allergic reactions.

The recalled products include Zingers, Ding Dongs, Donuts and other snack cakes. Consumers with peanut allergies can check detailed product recalled information by clicking the preceding link.

If you purchased any of the recalled products and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
