Ovaltine Mixed Malt Beverage Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and C Mart Enterprises are recalling Ovaltine brand Mixed Malt Choco Beverage because it contains undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk or has lactose intolerance could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There is no word on whether or not any reactions have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Ovaltine All-in-One Ready Mixed Malt Choco Beverage in 840 gram containers. All codes were milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number of the product isĀ 4 808591 800063. It was sold in Saskatchewan at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or have lactose intolerance, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
