Food Recalls in the U.S.
Undeclared Allergens
Willis Ocean Inc. of Brooklyn, NY recalled Willis Eagle brand MUT GUNG SWEETENED GINGER for undeclared sulfites.
WFSP Foods of Decatur, Ala. recalled Land O’ Frost brand bacon and cheddar smoked sausages because they contain the undeclared allergen, milk.
Baptista’s Bakery recalled some of their Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps because they may contain undeclared milk allergens.
Candra International recalled Organic Rice Noodles for undeclared wheat. Anyone who is allergic to wheat or who has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they eat this product.
Lack of Inspection
Panna Cafe Express to Go of Florida recalled 1,951 pounds of various meat and poultry products that were produced without federal inspection.
Extraneous Material
Sentry Foods of Tucker, Ga. recalled Saffron Road brand frozen chicken entrees that may contain glass fragments or plastic pieces.
Other
Green Bay Dressed Beef, doing business as American Foods Group of Green Bay, Wis. recalled approximately 7,420 pounds of beef brain products that may be contaminated with “specified risk materials.”

Pathogens
Five Star Shellfish in Canada recalled their large standard and mixed oysters because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria.
