Wonderful Pistachios Recalled for Salmonella in Canada Too

Wonderful brand pistachios are being recalled in Canada for possible Salmonella contamination. These products are linked to a Salmonella outbreak in the United States that has sickened at least 11 people in 9 states. No confirmed illnesses in Canada have been reported in connection with the consumption of these products. They were sold nationally at the retail level.

pistachios-salmonella-lawyerThe recalled products are Wonderful Roasted Unsalted Pistachios in 200 gram packages with codes BEST IF USED BY 2016/10/26 1509123260301 and UPC number 0 14113 91365 2, and in 225 gram packages with codes BEST IF USED BY 2016/10/26 1509123256901 and UPC number 0 14113 91253 2. Also recalled are Wonderful Roasted Salted Pistachios in 225 gram packages with codes BEST IF USED BY 2016/10/27 1509123259801 and UPC number 0 14113 91204 4. Roasted Salted Pistachios were also sold in 25 pound containers, with codes BEST IF USED BY 2016/11/02 1510123294601 and BEST IF USED BY 2016/11/05 1510123332501 with UPC number 00014113910255.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed or double bagged container so other people or animals can’t eat them, or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
