More Gourmet Sauvage Mustard Recalled For Undeclared Sulphites

More Gourmet Sauvage mustard is being recalled in Canada for undeclared sulphites. In addition, Forbes Wild Foods brand mustard is recalled for the same reason. Anyone who is allergic to or sensitive to sulphites could have serious allergic reactions if they eat these products. A previous recall just for Gourmet Sauvage mustard products, also for undeclared sulphites, was issued on July 6, 2020. Sulphites are a type of  preservative used in food and beverages.

More Gourmet Sauvage Mustard Recalled For Undeclared Sulphites

For all of these recalled mustards, all codes where sulphites are not declared on the label are recalled. The recalled products are Gourmet Sauvage Wild Mustard with Wine sold in 190 ml continuers. The UPC number on the product is 6 21269 00019 0.

Also recalled is Forbes Wild Foods Wild Salicornia Mustard sold in 190 ml containers, with no UPC number. Forbes Wild Foods Wild Saskatoon Mustard, packaged in 190 ml bottles, is recalled, with no UPC number, as is Forbes Wild Foods Wild Mustard in 190 ml bottles and no UPC number, and Forbes Wild Foods Wild Mushroom Mustard, in 190 ml containers and no UPC number.

If you purchased any of these recalled products and cannot consume sulphites for any reason, don’t eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.

Food allergy symptoms can vary from person to person and can begin at any time during a lifespan. Most common symptoms include tingling of the mouth, lips, and tongue, itching, and hive. Some people may experience vomiting and diarrhea. The most serious allergic reaction is anaphylaxis, which means it is difficult to breathe.
