Korean Food in Texas is recalling Mak Kimchi because it may contain undeclared shrimp (shellfish). People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to shrimp could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalled item is Mak Kimchi sold in 32 ounce and half gallon glass jars. It was distributed in Asian markets at the retail level in Plano, Texas; Carrollton, Texas, Dallas, Texas; and Lawton, Oklahoma. The UPC number is 4205313810 for the 32 ounce jars and 4205313730 for the half gallon jars. The products were sold between December 1, 2014 and January 23, 2015. Chorizo Products Recalled for Undeclared Peanuts

The recall of cumin and spice products for undeclared peanuts has prompted a slew of secondary recalls of products that were made with those spices. Buffalo Provisions of New York is recalling 48,210 pounds of chorizo because they were made with cumin that has been recalled for undeclared peanuts. There is no evidence that any of the Twix Bismarck doughnuts contain a peanut allergen, but a third party shipped a product to the facility in packaging that didn't reveal the presence of peanuts.
