H-E-B Recalls Hill Country Fare Light Tuna in Oil

H-E-B is voluntarily recalling 224 cases of Hill Country Fare brand Chunk Light Tuna in Oil because the product, produced at a co-packer, may have been undercooked. This could result in contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens, which could lead to life-threatening illness. There have been no reported illnesses to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalled product is Hill Country Fare brand 5 ounce canned Chunk Light Tuna in Oil. It was sold at H-E-B Texas stores in single cans between February 24, 2016 and March 16, 2016. More Heinz Baby Food Recalled in Canada for Spoilage Potential

Heinz Canada is recalling more of its baby food for spoilage potential. The recall issued on April 15, 2015 is updated to include another product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with these recalled items. The newly recalled products is Heinz Sweet Potato and Beef Medley in 213 ml jars. The code on the product is 2017AU04 and the UPC number is 0 579050 2. It was sold nationally at the retail level. Do not feed this product to your child. Heinz Baby Food Recalled in Canada for Spoilage

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Heinz Canada are recalling Heinz brand Chicken with Broth from the marketplace because the jars may not have sealed properly, causing spoilage. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is Heinz Chicken with Broth in 100 ml containers. The codes on the product are 2016SE26 and 2016DE12 and the UPC number is 0 571660 7. This item was sold nationally at the retail level. If you did feed your baby this product, monitor her for symptoms. Those may include upset stomach, vomiting, and diarrhea. Kraft Recalls Cottage Cheese for Possible Premature Spoilage

Kraft Foods Groups is voluntarily recalling about 1.2 million cases of cottage cheese because some ingredients used to make those products were not stored under proper temperature conditions. That could create conditions that would lead to premature spoilage and/or food borne illness, according to the company's press release. The recalled products include select types of Knudsen cottage Cheese, Breakstone's Cottage Cheese, Simply Kraft Cottage Cheese, and Daily Chef Cottage Cheese. The long list of recalled products, along with the UPC numbers, code dates, and case codes and  can be seen on the press release. Kraft Recalls String Cheese Varieties for Premature Spoilage

Kraft Foods is recalling some varieties of its string cheese because it could spoil before the expiration date on the label. Both Kraft and Polly-O String cheeses products "did not meet our high standards" according to the company.  About 735,000 cases of the product were shipped across the United States. The cheeses all have "best when used by" dates of October 25, 2013 through February 11, 2014.
