Vinacafe’s Wake Up Weasel Instant Coffee Mix Recalled for Undeclared Milk, Soy

Evershing International Trading is  recalling Vinacafe brand Wake Up Weasel Instant Coffee mix for undeclared milk and soy. Consumers with milk and soy allergies should not use  this product as they run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they do. The product contains Sodium Caseinate, a milk derivative,  and soy extract. The Vinacafe Brand Wake Up Weasel Instant Coffee mix 3‐in‐1 was distributed in California, Washington, Oregon, and Oklahoma in two types of packaging:  20 sachets (17g) packaged in a plastic bag, and 20 sachets(17g) packaged in a paper box. Kozy Shack Enterprises LLC is recalling some of its Foodservice Kozy Shack Simply Well Chocolate Pudding cups because they contain undeclared milk. Schwartz Brothers Bakery in  Seattle is recalling “Everything Bagels” because they contain an undeclared allergen, milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should not eat these bagels as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. The recalled product was sold in clear 4-pack plastic bags, with visible image of cheese melted on top of the bagels. “Everything Bagels” has the UPC number 7 17887 23121 1 and the “best by” dates of 10/14/14 to 11/10/14. Whole Foods in Melrose MA Recalls Vegan Gingersnaps for Undeclared Allergens

Whole Foods Market in Melrose Mass. is  recalling “Vegan Gingersnap Cookies” for the undeclared allergens milk, soy, eggs, and tree nuts. The recalled products were produced and sold only at the Melrose store. No adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this recall. However, people with allergies or severe sensitivity to those ingredients run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Lundberg Sea Salt Rice Chips Recalled for Undeclared MIlk

Lundberg Family Farms of Richvale, Calif., is recalling Sea Salt Rice Chips for the possible presence of an undeclared dairy allergen. The issue was discovered through a consumer complaint. No serious injuries or illness have been reported in association with this product, but consumers with a severe allergy to dairy should not eat it as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. The recalled chips were distributed in the United States and Canada. The recall applies to only 6 ounce bags (170g) of Sea Salt Rice Chips packed on August 11th, 2014, with the  code “140811” and a best before date of “2015 JUN 08” on the upper right-hand corner of the bag. Products Recalled for Undeclared Milk in Canada

Two products have been recalled in Canada for undeclared milk. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported in relation to the consumption of these products. The second is Salzburg Schokolade Wafers by S&F Food Importers Inc. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. They were sold nationally at the retail level. They are Gefüllte Waffeln - Salzburg Wafers with Cocoa Cream Filling in 150 gram packages with UPC number 9 025900 100378, and Gefüllte Waffeln - Salzburg Wafers with Vanilla Cream Filling in 150 gram packages and UPC number 9 025900 100361.
