Harris Teeter Chicken Strips Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. No reports of adverse reactions or illness have been received to date.

The recalled product is 10 ounce (248 gram) refrigerated packages of “Harris Teeter, Fresh Foods Market, Deli-Bakery, Al Natural Grlled Chicken Strips (minimally processed, no artificial ingredients).” The top label incorrectly reads “All Natural Grilled Chicken Strips (minimally processed, no artificial ingredients), Net Wt 10 oz. The product was produced on July 10, 2014 and bears the establishment number “Est. 19198” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The package code is “50223” and it has a “sell by” date of 07/27/14.
