More Retail Locations for Recalled Rancho Feeding Beef Released

The USDA has issued a huge list of more retail locations, food shelves, and other facilities that may have sold or carried the Rancho Feeding Corporation beef that was recalled for being unwholesome. The beef was processed from diseased and unsound animals without the benefit of federal inspection.

Beef-CarcassYou can see the long list at the USDA web site; look at it carefully. There are 975 facilities listed in California, two in Alabama, 9 in Florida, 3 in Mississippi, 1 in New Mexico, 2 in Oregon, and 4 in Washington state. Some of the large retailers listed include Walmart, Kroger, T&C Food Mart, Kwik Mart, Circle K, G&G, and Stop N’ Save. Other locations include food banks and churches.

If you purchased any of the recalled products, which include oxtail, tripe, liver, feet, veal bones, and tongue, among others, from those locations in the past year, do not eat it. Return to the place of purchase for a refund.
