Organic Butternut Squash at Costco Recalled For Possible E. coli

Organic Butternut Squash sold at certain Costco stores in four states is being recalled for possible E. coli O45 contamination, according to a notice issued by Safeway Fresh Foods. Anyone who eats this product if it isn't thoroughly cooked could get sick. The recall notice did not say whether or not any illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The recalling firm is Safeway Fresh Foods of Vineland, New Jersey. Fresh and Frozen Raw Ground Beef Patties Recalled for Possible E. coli Contamination

Win Opportunity Knocks, doing business as Ottomanelli Wholesale Meats of St. Petersburg, Florida, is recalling about 6,020 pounds of fresh and frozen, raw ground beef products for possible E. coli O45, O103, and O145 contamination. The recall notice does not state whether or not any illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall. These ground beef products were produced from June 18, 2018 through July 11, 2018. Gold Medal Packing Recalls Veal for Possible E. coli

Gold Medal Packing of New York is recalling about 4,607 pounds of boneless veal products for possible E. coli O26 and O45 contamination. Those bacteria can cause serious illness. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The veal trim and top bottom sirloin products were produced and packaged on August 16, 2016 and October 25, 2016. They include 60 pound boxes containing "Boneless Veal," and 2,387 pound bin containing top bottom sirloin. They have the establishment number "EST. 17965" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The boneless veal was shipped to a warehouse in California, and the top bottom sirloin was shipped to distributors in Pennsylvania.
