Q’s American Best Trading Recalls Catfish For No Inspection

Q's Best American Trading of Lakewood, California, has recalled 1,008 pounds of imported Siluriformes fish products (catfish) that were not presented for import re-inspection into the country. The frozen Siluriformes, specifically Sheat fish, were imported from Vietnam to the United States on December 25, 2018. No illnesses or any adverse reactions have been reported to public health officials or the company date in connection with this inspection issue. Anyone who is concerned about any type of reaction should contact their physician. Stino Da Napoli, of Rocky River, Ohio, is recalling about 11,392 pounds of various meat products that were produced, packed, and distributed without the benefit of federal inspection. This lack of inspection could be hazardous to human health. No confirmed reports of illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to the company or to public health officials to date. Mannarich Food, Inc., the importer of record that is based in Toronto, Canada, is recalling about 145,245 pounds of Siluriformes (catfish) products that were not presented at the U.S. point of entry for inspection. These fish products were imported on dates that range from June 26, 2017 through November 13, 2018. All foods imported into this country must be inspected at the border. Roya Foods of Paterson, New Jersey is recalling about 438 pounds of raw Halal Manti Beef Dumplings that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to the company or to FSIS to date in connection with this issue. The Dumplings were produced on various dates ranging from May 2, 2018 to August 29, 2018. The recalled product includes 1.1 pound clear plastic containers of the raw beef dumplings. Smoked Chicken Wings Recalled; Randsland Listeria Recall Updated

Two recalls have been issued; one for smoked chicken wings by True Cost Farm in Minnesota, the other an update of the Randsland Super Salad Kit recall for Listeria monocytogenes in Canada. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is issuing a consumer advisory for a smoked chicken wings that was sold by True Cost Farm. That facility is located in Montrose, Minnesota. Public health officials discovered that 169 pounds of smoked chicken wings was produced without required state inspection. Most of these True Cost Farm smoked chicken wings were served at Tullibee Restaurant. That facility is located in the Hewing Hotel at 300 Washington Avenue North in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bahar LLC of New Jersey is recalling about 2,344 pounds of raw Bahar frozen Beef Dumplings because they were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The problem was discovered by FSIS personnel during a review at the facility. The recalled products is various weight sealed plastic packages that contain "Bahar Manti Gourmet Mediterranean Brand Beef Dumplings" in 1.1 square plastic sealed packages. Two products - Taylor Farms Meatloaf, and Olufela Yemitan imported smoked Siluriformes (catfish) have been recalled, according to USDA notices. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received in either case. Olufela Yemitan, an importer of Houston, Texas, is recalling 45 pounds of smoked Siluriformes that were not presented at the U.S. point of entry for inspection. They were imported from Nigeria, a country that is not eligible to export these products to this country. They were produced during the month of August, 2018.
