More Lots of TNVitamins Moringa Powder Recalled For Salmonella

More lots of TNVitamins moringa powder and capsules are being recalled for possible Salmonella contamination. This is the third time the company's original recall, which was issued on May 27, 2026, has been expanded. The recalling firm is Total Nutrition Inc. of Deer Park, New York. No illnesses have been reported that are linked to these newly recalled products, but other TNVitamins moringa powder products are implicated in a Salmonella outbreak that has sickened at least 119 people in 36 states. And the FDA stated that two ingredients used to make these products do contain Salmonella. New Cyclospora Outbreak on FDA’s CORE Outbreak Table

There is a new cyclospora outbreak on the FDA's CORE Outbreak Table. There are nine outbreaks on the table; six of those outbreak have been solved. Three of the outbreaks have ended, but the investigations into all of them are ongoing. For the new cyclospora outbreak, there are two people who are sick. The source has not been identified. The FDA has initiated traceback. For the infant botulism outbreak linked to Nara Organic Infant Formula, three infants are sick. They live in California, Pennsylvania, and Washington state. All three infants were hospitalized and treated with BabyBIG®, the FDA-approved treatment for this infection that was developed by the California Department of Health. The recall of TNVitamins and Doctor's Pride moringa capsules for possible Salmonella contamination has been expanded again. A supply chain investigation found more lot numbers linked to the raw material that prompted the original recall. The recalling firm is Total Nutrition of Deer Park, New York. There is a Salmonella outbreak linked to moringa powder capsules. The outbreak investigation was closed, then reopened when officials discovered that these products may be contaminated with the outbreak strain. They are implicated in the outbreak. New Salmonella Outbreak on FDA CORE Investigation Table

There is a new Salmonella outbreak on the FDA's CORE Investigation Outbreak Table, bringing the number of outbreaks to seven. Of those seven outbreaks, five have been solved. The new Salmonella Enteritidis outbreak has sickened at least 62 people and has not been solved. The FDA has initiated traceback. For the deadly Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that is linked to requesón/soft ricotta cheeses, there are nine people sick. Eight of those patients have been hospitalized, and one person, who lived in Maryland, has died. The case count is: Maryland (3), New York (3), and Virginia (3). The recalling firm is Total Nutrition of Deer Park, New York. These recalled items were sold nationally through online platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and Target.
