True Nature Hummus and Pesto Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

According to the FDA's Weekly Enforcement Report for the week of April 27, 2016, True Nature LLC of Oregon recalled hummus and pesto because they contain undeclared allergens soy and milk. Anyone allergic to those ingredients could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. These products were sold in retail stores in Oregon and Washington state. The recalled products are Original Hummus in 9 ounce containers. All products dated before 3/9/16, specifically the best-by dates of 3/5, 2/28, and 2/21 are recalled. This product contains undeclared soy, from the ingredient tamari. Also recalled is Garlic Hummus in a 9 ounce container.
