Nueske’s Liver Pate Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats of Wisconsin is recalling 4,454 pounds of liver pate products because they contain the milk protein sodium caseinate, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the product label. No reports of adverse reactions have been received to date. The product is 10-ounce vacuum packed packages of "Nueske's Applewood Smoked Liver Pate". Each package has the establishment number "Est. 8926" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The dates "2/13/13C", "2/19/13C", "2/20/13C", or "3/16/13C" are on the packages. The products were made between December 15, 2012 and January 22, 2013 and were distributed for retail sale nationwide. Tropoical Nut and Fruit Co. of Orlando Florida is recalling five lots of the snack mix called "Chia ReCharged Stix Mix" because they may contain undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Those with allergies to peanuts may suffer a life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is sold in 5 ounce pouches. The UPC number is 0 94184 01014 6. It was distributed between June 6, 2012 and October 23, 2012 to wholesalers and retail stores nationwide. The affected lot numbers are stamped on the master case. Isabella Foods Recalls Tamales Because of Undeclared Wheat and Soy

Isabella Foods of Texas is recalling 685 pounds of tamales because of misbranding and undeclared allergens. The products contain wheat or soy that re not declared on the label. The products that are recalled are 36 ounce packages containing 12 "Isabella Foods of El Paso Green Chicken Tamales" with the establishment number "P-13389" inside the USDA mark of  inspection. Also recalled are 36 ounce packages containing 12 "Isabella Foods of El Paso Red Pork Tamales" with the establishment number "EST. 1960" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
