Consumers who have purchased the recalled cans should not eat them as they pose risk of injury. The problem as discovered after the company received complaints from customers. The recalled 14.2 ounce cans have the date February 22, 2017 stamped on the base of the can, and a UPC code of 51000 22432 printed under the bar code. Potatoes Recalled in Canada for Possible Tampering
Lobular Companies and Strang's Produce are voluntarily recalling Farmer's Market and Strang's Produce brands of Russet Potatoes from the market because they may have been tampered with. Nails and needles were found in the potatoes. No injuries have been reported to date. And President's Choice Organics is recalling their Primavera Pasta Sauce for possible pieces of plastic. Publix is recalling their private label Jalapeño Bagels because they may contain pieces of glass and small stones. The bagels were sold in either the self-service bins or artisan cases in the bakery department. The bagels were sold in Publix stores located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Pedigree Dog Food Recalled for Possible Foreign Material
Mars Petcare is recalling 22 bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food because it may be contaminated with foreign material. The bags were produced in one facility and shipped to one retail customer. The 15 pound bags were sold between August 18 and 25, 2014 in 12 Dollar General stores in Magnolia and Vicksburg in Mississippi; Perryville and Cabot in Arkansas; Memphis in Tennessee; and Baton Rouge, Calhoun, Hineston, Jonesville, Pineville, and Slaughter in Louisiana. E. G. Emils & Sons Inc. of Philadelphia is recalling approximately 5,896 pounds of deli ham product that may be contaminated with extraneous materials. People who have purchased this product should not eat it. The recalled product, Wegman’s Food You Feel Good About Organic Ham has pack lot numbers 14941309, 14941310 and 14941311 and “EST 9935” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the labels. It was produced May 29, and shipped to Wegman’s locations in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
