The USDA is issuing a public health alert about chicken products that were made by Productos Dany, Inc. of Hatillo, Puerto Rico. About 6,907 pounds of chicken products were recalled because they contain previously recalled ingredients. These foods were imported by the Trafon Group of Puerto Nuevo, Puerto Rico, but were not presented for FSIS re-inspeciton. The previously recalled products are subject to FSIS Recall 123-2017, issued on November 16, 2017. Those products, which included Harvest Creek Chicken Franks, Olymel pork shoulder, Polean ham, frozen pork loins, and pork chops, were also not inspected. Pride of Iowa Sandwiches is recalling about 31 pounds of chicken, pork, and beef products that were made without the benefit of federal inspection. No confirmed reports of illnesses or adverse reactions have been received to date in connection with this issue. These salads, wraps, and other products were made on November 2 and 6, 2017. They do not have the USDA federal mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail vending machines in Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
