Christopher Ranch and Garland Peeled Garlic are being recalled for a temperature issue, which could allow for the growth of Clostridium botulinum, that produce spores that make the toxin botulism. All of the products were sold at TOPS stores. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these items. The recalling firm is Tops Friendly Markets of Williamsville, New York. The temperature instruction on the products states that they must be held at 32 to 35 or 32 to 37 degrees, and the cooler is not holding that temperature.
