Campbell Chicken Soup Brand Recalled for Undeclared Milk Allergen

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reports that Campbell Soup Company has recalled 4,185 pounds of its “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta” soup products because the soup may contain undeclared milk allergens. Campbell Soup Company is headquartered in Maxton, North Carolina. Campbell Soup Company issued this recall after April 20, 2017, when they were apprised of multiple consumer complaints that soup cans labelled as “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta” were accidentally filled with “Campbell’s Homestyle Health Request Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs in Chicken Broth” soup. H.E.B Infused Cranberries Recalled for Undeclared Almonds

Nassau Candy Distributors, headquartered in Hicksville, New York, has announced a recall of its “H.E.B Brand Pomegranate Infused Cranberries Covered in Dark Chocolate.” According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), this product may contain undeclared almonds. Ingesting almonds can pose a potentially fatal risk to individuals who are allergic to this allergen. Symptoms of the anaphylaxis shock that might occur should almond-sensitive people eat this product include hives, paling of the skin, impaired breathing, chest tightness, swelling in the mouth or throat, dizziness / fainting, and vomiting or diarrhea. Peony Mark Dried Lily Flower Recalled for Sulfites

Starway Incorporated is recalling Peony Mark brand Dried Lily Flower because it contains undeclared sulfites. Anyone who is allergic to sulfites could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. The recalled product is Peony Mark Brand Dried Lily Flower in a 6 ounce (170 gram) clear uncoded plastic bag. The UPC number is 686529131632. It was distributed nationwide and was produced in China. Routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets revealed the presence of sulfites in the product. The consumption of 10 mg of sulfites per serving can cause severe reactions in people with asthma. Beyond Better Foods has issued a recall for Enlightened brand Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream because it may contain undeclared peanut. Wegmans Bangers Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Wegmans Bangers are being recalled for undeclared wheat. Consumers who have an allergy or intolerance to wheat should not eat theses products as they may experience an allergic reaction. Grossglockner Inc. of Canandaigua, NY is issued the recall for 204 pounds of fully cooked, not shelf stable, pork sausage banger products after Wegmans store personnel discovered that the label states the product contains breadcrumbs, but wheat is not listed as an ingredient. The recalled pork sausages, produced on July 5, were sold in 16-oz. vacuum-packed packages labeled “Handcrafted by Joseph Brunner Wegmans Bangers 8% Bread Crumbs”  and shipped to Wegmans stores and shipped to Wegman’s stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia. Kitchen Cravings Parfaits Sold at Kwik Trip Recalled for Undeclared Peanut

Kwik Trip Inc. of La Crosse, WI has issued a recall for Kitchen Cravings brand Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits fro undeclared peanut. Consumers with an allergy to peanuts should not eat these parfaits. The recalled products were sold in 8.25 oz. cups at Kwik Trip stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.  The recalled Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfait was sold in 8.25 oz. cups with the UPC CODE 3977918435. The recalled Kitchen Cravings Mixed Berry Parfaits were sold in 8.25 oz. cups with the UPC CODE 3977918436. Both had "sell by" dates on or before 7/31/2016. Krispak, Inc. of Grand Rapids, MI, is recalling GFS brand Honey Roasted Peanuts because they may contain undeclared Tree Nuts - Pecans. People with allergies or sensitivities to tree nuts should not eat this product as they run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.
