There is a possible illness outbreak at Banchetti By Rizzo's banquet hall in Amherst, New York, according to news reports and the Erie County Department of Health. "Several cases" have been reported after an event, which was not named. Possible Hepatitis A Exposure at Restaurant and Senior Living Center in Erie County, NY

Food workers at a restaurant and senior living center in Erie County, New York have been diagnosed with hepatitis A, according to the Health Department. Anyone who consumed foods and/or beverages from Al-e-oops Restaurant at 5389 Genessee Street in Lancaster, New York, or from the Brookdale Senior Living Community at 6076 Main Street in Williamsville, New York may be at risk. For people who visited the Al-e-oops Restaurant, the critical dates are between January 27, 2018 through January 30, 2018. For people who ate at the Brookdale Senior Living Community, the dates are January 23, 2018 through January 31, 2018. Outbreak Associated with Mighty Taco in Erie County New York

The Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) is investigating a foodborne illness outbreak associated with Mighty Taco restaurants in New York state. The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the New York State Department of Health, Niagara County Department of Health, and the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets. There have been reports of 104 people sickened as of October 6, 2016, with symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Those sickened apparently ate refried beans from one of the eleven Mighty Taco locations in Erie County. Illness onset dates range from September 27, 2016 to noon on October 6, 2016.
