Flanc Pork, Pork Belly Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Ronald A. Chisholm, Ltd. of Toronto is recalling about 12,169 pounds of skinless pork belly products that were not inspected at the border. Without the benefit of full inspection, a possibility of adverse health effects exists. The product is a 40 pound cardboard box "FLANC PORC, PORK BELLY." The products were produced and packaged from June 27 to July 20, 2017. The products have the case code 815157 and the establishment number "10" inside the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) mark of inspection. They were shipped to restaurants in Hawaii. The problem was discovered by FSIS while conducting routine "failure to present" monitoring activities. the products were distributed to a single distributor and three federal establishments. More Beef Jerky Added to Craft Beer Jerky Recall

The recall of Craft Beer Jerky beef products for lack of inspection is being expanded to include more products. The original recall was issued on November 3, 2016. These products were produced without federal inspection and the company used the USDA mark of inspection without authorization. The beef jerky items were produced on May 18, June 10, Aug. 30, Sept. 27, Sept. 28, Oct. 25 and Oct. 26, 2016. In addition to the Craft Beer Jerky created with wheat and created with porter, E3 Meat Co. Paleo Beef Jerky Sweet and E3 Meat Co. Paleo Beef Jerky Spicy are being recalled. Craft Beer Jerky Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Flavor Trade of Missouri is recalling about 113 pounds of beef jerky products that were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and used the USDA mark of inspection without authorization. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or adverse reactions associated with the consumption of this product. The recalled products are 3 ounce sealed packages of "Craft Beer Jerky: Created with Wheat," which may or may not include a package code of 614261. The other recalled product is 3 ounce sealed packages containing "Craft Beer Jerky: Created with Porter," which may or may not include package code 619290. Santana Black Label Beef Jerky Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Santana’s Black Label Gourmet Beef Jerky of Glendale, Ariz. is recalling approximately 295 pounds of beef jerky products for lack of inspection. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them. Casa di Trevi Pasta Products Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Gourmet Pasta Products USA, LLC, doing business as Casa di Trevi of Roselle Park, N.J. is recalling 845 pounds of meat pasta products for lack of inspection, misbranding and undeclared allergens. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them "Some of the recalled products were formulated with sodium nitrite and sodium erythorbate, restricted ingredients and ingredients of public health concern, and some of the products contain isolated soy protein and hydrolyzed soy, known allergens, all of which were not declared on the finished product label," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Tim Hortons Chicken Noodle Soup Recalled

The TDL Group Corp. of Ontario, Canada has issued a recall for 636 pounds of dried chicken noodle soup mix products because they were not presented to the USDA for inspection upon entry to the United States. Without inspection, there is s risk that food could cause adverse health consequences, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) . The recalled Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup mix items were produced in Canada on May 16, 2016, and imported to the United States on or around July 16, 2016.
