Mountains Dried Mushrooms Recalled For Undeclared Sulfites

DZH Import & Export Inc. of  Brooklyn is recalling Mountains dried mushrooms for undeclared sulfites. Those with severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product. The recalled mushrooms  were sold in a 1.23oz (35gram) plastic tray with the following code: BEST BEFORE: NOV. 30, 2013. The UPC number is 6931653104064. The recalled product was produced in China and sold in New York City. DZH announced the recall after a problem was discovered during routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets food inspectors. Green Day Dried Coconut Recalled for Undeclared Sulfites

Domega NY International is recalling Green Day Brand Dried Coconut because it contains undeclared sulfites. Those with a severe sensitivity to sulfites may have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. THe product comes in a 3 ounce (85 gram) clear plastic bag with code Exp 12/15/2014. The UPC number is 6 950296 800744. The product, made in China, was sold in the New York metropolitan area. The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors revealed the presence of sulfites.
