Tennessee Technical Isopropyl Hand Sanitizer is being recalled because it contains methanol, which is not allowed in that type of product. No illnesses or adverse events have been reported to the company to date in conreciotn with this problem. The recalling firm is Tennessee Technical Coatings Corp. Substantial methanol exposure can cause nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, seizures, permanent blindness, permanent damage to the central nervous system, and death. All people using this product on their hands are at risk, but young children who accidentally ingest this product and adolescents and adults who drink these products as an alcohol substitute are most at risk for methanol poisoning. Bee Happy 12 Days of Advent Calendars have been recalled because the brown bell found in "Day 10" of the advent calendar contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, which poses a risk of lead poisoning. Excessive levels of lead can be toxic to young children if the paint is ingested. Lead is a toxic heavy metal that exists in the environment. Consuming it can cause a variety of potentially serious health problems. Bebe au Lait Teethers are being recalled for a possible choking hazard. The string that connects the beads on the teether can break, which will release the beads. There have been no injuries reported connected to this problem, but the company has received six reports of detached bands, and one child placed a bead in their mouth. The recalling firm is Bebe au Lait of Santa Clara, California. About 8,600 units were sold in the United States, and 10 units were sold in Canada. The teether were available for purchase at Target and various other stores nationwide. FRIGG Silicone Pacifiers Recalled For Possible Choking Hazard

FRIGG Silicone Pacifiers are being recalled for a possible choking hazard, according o the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).  The base of the silicone nipple has a fine slit that can cause it to detach from the plastic shield. No injuries have been reported to date in connection with this issue. The recalling firm is Mushie & Co. The FRIGG silicone pacifiers were made in two designs: Classic and Daisy. The Classic design is a silicone nipple that is attached to a round plastic shield. The Dairy design has a round scalloped plastic shield. American Angler Electric Fillet Knives are being recalled because they pose a laceration hazard. The trigger mechanism on the knife can become stuck in the "on" position. The recalling firm is Wayne/Scott Fetzer Company doing business as Scott Fetzer Consumer Brands of Harrison, Ohio. There have been 23 reports of the trigger mechanism sticking, but no injuries have been reported to the company to date in association with this problem. Four People Sickened - Two Have Died Walmart Better Homes & Gardens aromatherapy spray is being recalled for possible Burkholderia pseudomallei bacteria contamination, which causes melioidosis, a potentially fatal infection, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Four people, from Kansas, Minnesota, Texas, and Georgia, were sickened and two have died, including a child, after being infected with that pathogen. Macy's is recalling Martha Stewart Collection Oil & Vinegar Cruets because the bottles can break during use, which poses a laceration hazard. Macy's has received six reports of the glass cruets breaking, which caused three injuries. Two of the patients required stitches. The Martha Stewart Collection Oil & Vinegar Cruets were sold at Macy's stores nationwide and online at the Macy's website from June 2017 through June 2021 for about $22.00. Zen Magnets and Neoballs Magnets are being recalled for ingestion hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Zen Magnets LLC is aware of two children who ate the magnets and needed surgery to remove the magnets and parts of their intestines and bowels. CPSC is aware of more reports of children and teenagers ingesting high powered magnets and needing surgery. A 19-month girl died after ingesting similar high powered magnets, but not these particular products. When two or more of these magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other or another metal object and become lodged in the digestive system. SOWTECH Espresso Machines Recalled For Possible Burn Hazard

SOWTECH Espresso Machines are being recalled for a possible burn hazard, according to a notice posted on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website. There have been 48 incidents of the  glass carafe breaking reported to the company, which resulted in five burn injuries. The recalling firm is LoHi Tech of Walnuts, California. The glass carafe can break while in use, which can burn anyone using the machine. The recalled item is SOWTECH Espresso Machines with model number CM6811. The machines are black and were sold with a glass carafe.
