Sixteen new reports of lacerations have been received since the first recall was issued in 2018. The manufacturer is Vita-Mix Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio. These products were manufactured in the United States. About 569,000 of these units were sold. About 105,000 of those containers and blade bases were previously recalled. Joy Jolt Declan Glass Coffee Mugs are being recalled because they can pose a burn and laceration hazard. The glass mugs can break and crack when they are filled with hot liquids. There have been 103 reported incidents of the glasses breaking at the base, causing 56 injuries, including 35 burns across the body from spilled hot liquids, and 21 cuts.
