The Laundress Cleaning Products Recalled For Contamination

The Laundress Cleaning Products are being recalled for possible bacterial contamination. These products include laundry detergent and household cleaning products. Eleven consumers have reported Pseudomonas infections. The company is investigating to see if these illnesses have any connection to the recalled products. The Laundress is a subsidiary of Conopco Inc, doing business as Uniliver, of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Testing did find bacteria in some of these products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022. Cuisinart Compact Blender Recalled For Laceration Hazard

Cuisinart Compact Blender and Juice Extractor Combo is being recalled because it poses a laceration hazard. The nut that holds the blender blade assembly can loosen and detach from the base when the appliance is being used. If the person operating the blender comes into contact with the loose blade they can injure themselves. The recalling firm is Conair of Stamford, Connecticut. The firm has received three reports of incidents where the blade detached during use. In one instance, the blade perforated the blender container. No injures have been reported to date. Indigo Bear Mugs Recalled For Burn and Laceration Hazard

Indigo Bear Mugs are being recalled for possible burn and laceration hazards. The mugs can crack or break when they are filled with hot liquids. About 270 of these mugs were sold in the United States, and 29,232 were sold in Canada at the retail level. Hearth & Home Magnolia Tea Kettles, sold at Target, are being recalled for possible fire and burn hazards. The paint can chip on the bottom of these tea kettles, which pose a fire hazard. In addition, the handle can break and the spout can leak, posing a risk of burn injuries. While there have been 27 reports of incidents with the tea kettles, including the kettles leaking, wobbling and moving on the stovetop while in use, the handle grip breaking off, and the paint chipping and melting on the bottom of the kettle, no injuries have been reported.
