SAS Food Empanadas Recalled For Lack of Inspection

SAS Foods Empanadas are being recalled because they were produced without federal inspection. These products also bear a false USDA mark of inspection. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The problem was discovered after FSIS received n anonymous tip and an investigation was started. The recalling firm is SAS Foods Enterprises of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The recalled products are frozen, fully cooked beef and chicken empanadas. Otten’s Seafood Catfish is Being Recalled For Lack of Inspection

Otten's Seafood catfish products are being recalled for lack of inspection. The catfish, also called siluriformes, was produced, packaged, and distributed without the benefit of federal inspection. About 46,804 pounds of the fish are subject to this recall. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse rations received by the company to date in connection with the consumption of these items. The fresh and frozen catfish items were produced from January 25, 2021 through May 21, 2021. The jalapeño chorizo sausages items were produced from April 13, 2021 through April 16, 2021.
