Reser's Fine Foods is voluntarily recalling some of their meal kits for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. They were made with recalled BrucePac chicken. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these items. The recalling firm is Reser's Fine Foods of Beaverton, Oregon. The meal kits were sold under the brand names Bistro 29 and Don Pancho. BrucePac Meat Poultry Recall For Listeria Expands Dramatically

The BrucePac meat and poultry recall for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination has expanded dramatically over the weekend. The USDA has increased the number of pages of recalled products by the hundreds. The list now runs to 250 pages. No illnesses have been reported yet in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is BrucePac of Durant, Oklahoma. The products have the establishment numbers 51205 or P-51205 stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were sold nationwide at the retail level and were also sold to restaurants and institutions such as schools. The recalled product is Enoki King Enoki Mushrooms that are packaged in a 5.3 ounce (150 gram) clear plastic package with a blue strip. FDA: Do Not Feed Some Lots of Darwin’s Natural Pet Food

The FDA is warning consumers to not feed some lots of Darwin's Natural Pet Food to their pets because of possible Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The FDA issued a similar warning about Darwin's Naturals for possible Salmonella contamination last August, and in October 2023, August 2022, and March 2019. This food is raw pet food. FDA samples of five Darwin's Natural Pet Products raw cat and dog food made by Arrow Reliance tested positive for Salmonella contamination. Answers Dog Food in three flavors is being voluntarily recalled for possible Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Samples that were collected by the FDA tested positive for both of those pathogens. No illnesses have been reported in connection with this issue. The recalling firm is Lystn LLC doing business as ANSWERS Pet Food of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. Both pathogens can cause illness in pets and people. Listeria monocytogenes only rarely affects dogs, but when it does the animals will experience nausea and vomiting. A dog that appears heathy can be a carrier and spread it to people.
