Great American Deli Recalling a Chicken Sandwich for Undeclared Allergens

Great American Deli of Tennessee is recalling 816 units of one of their sandwiches because it has the wrong ingredient statement, and therefore contains undeclared eggs and soy, two of the major food allergens. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue. The product is Premium Chicken Salad Wheatberry Sandwich, with lot number 17 198 located on the top left front of each package. It weighs 6.4 ounces and is packaged in plastic containers. The product was distributed in Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia to convenience stores and vending machines. Royal Asia Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup Recalled After Allergic Reaction

Tai Foong USA of Seattle, Washington, is recalling Royal Asia Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup sold at Costco stores because it may contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. One allergic reaction has been confirmed. The product is sold in 3.94 (1.79 kg) 63 ounce packages, in a 6 bowl pack. The product was teated for the presence of egg, and that was confirmed. The packaging does not reveal the presence of egg. The product was immediately pulled from Costco shelves. The soup was distributed in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Alaska, and was purchased  exclusively at Costco beginning in January 2017. H-E-B Recalls Chicken Thighs for Undeclared Allergens

H-E-B Met Plant in Texas is recalling about 1,150 pounds of diced chicken thighs for undeclared wheat, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to wheat or who has celiac disease could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions received to date. The recalled products is 1.75 pound shrink wrapped packages of "MI TIENDA PARA TACOS DE POLLO CASERO SEASONED DICED SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGHS" with a freeze by/sell by date of Oct. 12, 2017. The products have the establishment number "P-7231" inside the USDA mark of inspection. Recall of RI Wang Sausage Products for Allergens Expanded

The USDA is expanding the recall of RI Wang Food Group sausage products for misbranding and undeclared allergens. About 63,823 pounds of heat treated but not fully cooked not shelf stable pork sausage and beef products are being recalled. The product contains milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. The recall has been expanded to include an additional 9,850 pounds of products that were produced from January 5, 2017 to June 29, 2017. The products are 25-pound institutional packs of "Beef Balls," "Pork Patty Balls," and "Beef Tendon Balls," with many different lot codes and package dates. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is updating the recall of Ri Wang Food brand meat and fish products, now saying that they are being recalled for undeclared egg, milk, and soy, three of the major food allergens.
