Purina Recalls Beneful Wet Dog Food for Lack of Vitamins

Purina has issued a recall for Beneful wet dog that does not contain the recommended level of added vitamins and minerals. The recalled dog food was sold in 10-oz. tubs under the Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends and Pro Plan Savory Meals brands. Bravo Dog and Cat Food Recalled for Salmonella

Bravo Pet Foods of Manchester, CT is recalling some lots of Bravo Chicken Blend diet for dogs and cats because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. The pet food recall was issued after the Colorado State Department of Agriculture found Salmonella in a package of Bravo Chicken Blend diet for dogs and cats during routine testing. The recall includes: Bravo Blend Chicken diet for dogs and cats packaged in 2 lb. (32 oz.) chubs with "sell by" date 11/13/16 and UPC 829546314019. It was sold to distributors, retail stores and directly to customers through internet sales. Vital Essentials frozen raw dog food is being recalled for Listeria. Consumers who have purchased this product should not feed it to their dogs. Stella and Chewy’s Chicken Patties Dog Food Recalled for Listeria

Stella and Chewy’s Chicken Patties dog food is being recalled for Listeria. The Maryland Department of Agriculture has issued a stop sale order on the recalled product which is marked with the lot number 111-15 and the use by date of April 23, 2016. Consumers who have purchased this product should not feed it to their dogs as Listeria can cause serious illness and death. Listeria in pet food can be dangerous to pets who eat it and humans who handle it. Maryland health officials advise consumers who have unopened bags of this dog to  keep it sealed, away from people and to throw it away.
