QueensMade Lemonade products are being voluntarily recalled because the items were produced without the benefit of federal inspection, so safety parameters are not verifiable. All of the company's juice-type products are included in this recall, including all lemonade flavors and Ginger Turmeric shots. No reports of illness or adverse effects have been received by the company to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is Queensmade Lemonade LLC of Cincinnati, Ohio. These items were sold at various retail locations, restaurants, and mobile food trucks throughout the Cincinnati area. Hawthorne Valley Association Raw Milk Recalled For Possible Listeria

Hawthorne Valley Association raw milk in New York is being recalled for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this unpasteurized milk. The Association is located at 327 Route 21C in Ghent, New York in Columbia County. A sample of the milk that was collected by an inspector tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. The producer was notified of a presumptive positive test on May 5, 2022, and testing concluded on May 12, 2022 confirmed the presence of this pathogen. Insignia Air Fryers and Air Fryer Ovens are being recalled for possible fire and burn hazards. These items can overheat. The air fryers were sold at Best Buy stores. The importer is Best Buy Purchasing LLC of Richfield, Minnesota. The air fryers were manufactured in China. There were 635,000 of these units sold in the United States, and 137,000 sold in Canada. Best Buy has received 68 reports from U.S. consumers and 36 reports from Canadian consumers of the air fryer or air fryer ovens catching fire, burning, or melting. There are seven reports of minor property damage and two reports of injuries, including an injury to a child's leg. Deadly Fresh Express Listeria Monocytogenes Outbreak Ends With 10 Sick

The deadly Fresh Express Listeria monocytogenes outbreak has ended with 10 people sick in eight states. One person, who lived in Pennsylvania, died. Fresh Express recalled its packaged salads that were produced in its Streamwood, Illinois facility on December 20, 2021. The case count has remained unchanged since the last update on December 22, 2021. The patient case count by state is: Illinois (1), Massachusetts (1), Michigan (1), New Jersey (2), New York (1), Ohio (1), Pennsylvania (2), and Virginia (1). Illness onset dates range from July 26, 2016 through October 19, 2021. The patient age range is from 44 to 95 years. All 10 people were hospitalized. DeLauro Wants an Investigation into FDA Handling of Infant Formula Recall

Rep. DeLauro wants an investigation into the FDA handling of infant formula monitoring and recalls, more specifically the Abbott Nutrition powdered infant formula recall associated with at least four Cronobacter illnesses. Rosa Delauro (D-CT) is the chair of the House Appropriations Committee. A letter was sent to the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services, asking for her assistance in this investigation.
