A Tu Gusto Croquettes Recalled For Allergens, Lack of Inspection

A Tu Gusto Croquettes are being recalled because they contain the allergens soy, sesame seed, and wheat that are not declared on the product label, and were not inspected by the USDA. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients, as well as anyone with celiac disease, could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is A Tu Gusto of Lehigh Acres, Florida. About 7,630 pounds of frozen meat and poultry croquette products are included in this recall. They were produced between April and October 2024 and have a shelf life of six months. Deadly McDonald’s E. coli Outbreak Sickens 75; Onions Recalled

The deadly McDonald's E. coli outbreak has now sickened at least 75 people in 13 states. That's an increase of 26 more patients in just three days. And Taylor Farms has recalled slivered onions sent to food service operators, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Everyone interviewed continues to report eating at McDonald's before they got sick. The most recent illness started on October 10. The case count by state is: Colorado (26), Iowa (1), Kansas (1), Michigan (2), Missouri (4), Montana (13), Nebraska (11), New Mexico (5), Oregon (1), Utah (5), Washington (1), Wisconsin (1), and Wyoming (4). HuHill Farm Raw Milk Recalled For Possible Campylobacter

HuHill Farm Raw Milk is being recalled again for possible Campylobacter contamination, according to the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The milk from that dairy, which is located at 232 Lighthall Road in Fort Plain, New York, was also recalled in August 2024 for the same reason. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this milk. A routine sample of the milk that was collected by a health inspector was found to be contaminated with that pathogen. On October 17, 2024, the producer was notified about a preliminary positive test result. On October 21, 2024, further laboratory testing confirmed that the milk was contaminated with Campylobacter jejuni.
