Tide Gain Ace and Ariel Laundry Detergent Packets are being recalled because they pose a risk of serious injury. These products are packaged in flexible firm bags. The problem is that the outer packaging that is meant to prevent access to the contents can split open near the zipper track, posing a risk of injury to children and other vulnerable populations if the contents are ingested. There is also a risk of skin and eye injuries. No reports of confirmed injuries have been received that are directly related to this package defect. No reports of illness or adverse events have been reported to the company to date in connection with this problem. The recalling firm is Aruba Aloe Balm N.V. of Oranjestad, Aruba. Stateside Bead Supply High Powered Magnet Beads are being recalled for an ingestion hazard and violation of the Federal safety regulations for magnets. The beads violate the requirement because they contain one or more magnets that fit within the Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) small parts cylinder. In addition, the magnets are stronger than permitted. When high powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive tract. Starbucks Metallic Mugs in Gift Sets Recalled For Burn Hazard

Starbucks Metallic Mugs in gift sets are being recalled because they pose a burn and laceration hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). There have been 12 incidents of mugs overheating or breaking that caused 10 injuries, including nine severe burns and blisters on fingers and hands, and one cut. One incident required medical attention. If these mugs are filled with very hot liquid, they can overheat or break, posing a burn and laceration hazard. The recalled product is Starbucks Metallic mugs that were included in the 2023 Holiday Starbucks branded gift sets. About 440,500 of these gift sets are included in this recall. CPSC Warns Consumers About Tuladuo Water Bead Sets

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning consumers about Tuladuo Water Bead sets because they violate the federal ban on hazardous substances. The large water beads contain levels of acrylamide that pose a toxicity risk to children. A recall has not yet been issued. The beads were manufactured in China. The CPSC is aware of an incident in which a one year old required surgery to remove a large Tuladuo water bead after eating it. These beads can grow inside the body, causing severe discomfort, vomiting, dehydration, intestinal blockages, and life-threatening injuries. Consumers Warned About Jangostor Water Beads For Toxicity

Consumers are being warned about Jangostor Water Beads because they pose a chemical toxicity hazard and are in violation of the Federal Ban of Hazardous Substances, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. These large beans contain levels of acrylamide that are in violation of the Federal Hazardous Substance Act. If a child eats one of these beans, it can pose a risk of toxicity. The firm, Jangostor, in China, has not agreed to an acceptable recall. CPSC is aware of two incidents in which two-year-old children ingested the beads and needed surgery to remove them. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning consumers about the hazards of water beads and young children. Water beads, which are often sold as toys in craft kits, are designed for use as sensory tools for children with developmental disabilities. They are small balls of super absorbing polymers and can grow to 100 times their original size when exposed to water. If children swallow these beads, which can be as small as a pinhead, they can grow inside the body, causing intestinal blockages and life-threatening injuries. Best Buy Insignia Air Fryers and Air Fryer Ovens are being recalled because they can pose fire hazards, burn hazards, and laceration hazards. The company has received 24 reports of the air fryers overheating and melting or glass shattering, including six reports of air fryers catching on fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported to date. The recalling firm is the importer, Best Buy Purchasing of Richfield, Minnesota. The air fryers were manufactured in China.
