That is an increase of 17 more patients and 11 more hospitalizations since the last update was published on August 7, 2024. There are two deaths that are potentially associated with these products. And nine more illnesses and 10 new hospitalizations have been reported. The case count by state is: Georgia (2), Illinois (1), Indiana (1), Maryland (8), Massachusetts (3), Minnesota (1), Missouri (3), New Jersey (4), New York (14), North Carolina (1), Pennsylvania (1), Virginia (3), and Wisconsin (1).
