Raw Farm Milk Salmonella Outbreak Sickens Nine in California

A Raw Farm milk Salmonella outbreak has sickened at least nine people in San Diego County, California, according to the County of San Diego health officials. The illnesses are linked to unpasteurized milk products produced by Raw Farm LLC, which is located in Fresno, California. The outbreak began in late September 2023. The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency is urging anyone who may have recently purchased Raw Farm LLC raw milk or products made from raw milk to throw it away. The patient age range is from one to 41 years old. All consumed Raw Farm LLC raw milk or milk products the week before they got sick. Raw Farm Raw Cheddar Cheese Recalled in CA For Salmonella

Raw Farm Raw Cheddar Cheese is being recalled in California for possible Salmonella contamination. The cheese is also subject to a quarantine order announced by California State Veterinarian Dr. Annette Jones. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this cheese. The recalling firm is Raw Farm LLC of Fresno County. The order applies to "Raw Farm Cheddar," that is packaged in one pound (16 ounce) blocks. The code date that is marked on the plastic wrapper is BEST BY: 03/16/2024 and BATCH# 20230517-1. Raw Farm Raw Milk Recalled in California For Campylobacter

Raw Farm raw milk is being recalled in California for possible Campylobacter contamination. The milk is produced and packaged by Raw Farm LLC of Fresno County, California. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this unpasteurized milk. The farm is located at 7221 South Jameson Avenue in Fresno. The recall and quarantine order was announced by California State Veterinarian Dr. Annette Jones after Campylobacter was found in the farm's packaged whole raw milk. The milk was sampled and tested by the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Routine sampling conducted at the farm found the pathogen.
