About 28,000 pounds of the ground beef has been recalled. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue. The company is located in Clackamas, Oregon. The ground beef has the establishment number "EST. 965" stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection. The brand names of the ground beef include WinCo, Walmart, Kroger, and Albertsons. This list may not include all retail locations where the beef was sold, and not all of these stores may have sold the product. Interstate Meat recalls ground beef for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. Consumer Reports reported that they found this contamination in a package of Kroger 93% lean ground beef purchased at a Fred Meyer store in Seattle on January 5, 2021. The recall is for about 28,356 ponds of ground beef products. The recalling firm is Interstate Meat Distributors. Inc. of Clackamas, Oregon. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these items. The recalling firm is Dole Fresh Vegetables of Monterey, California. There is a melioidosis outbreak linked to Better Homes & Gardens Lavender & Chamomile Aromatherapy Sprays with Gemstones that has sickened four people and killed two. The patients are from Kansas, Georgia, Minnesota, and Texas. The sprays were sold at Walmart stores and at Walmart online. But which Walmart stores sold BH&G sprays linked to this outbreak? The sprays are contaminated with a bacteria called Burkholderia pseudomallei that causes melioidosis. Four People Sickened - Two Have Died Walmart Better Homes & Gardens aromatherapy spray is being recalled for possible Burkholderia pseudomallei bacteria contamination, which causes melioidosis, a potentially fatal infection, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Four people, from Kansas, Minnesota, Texas, and Georgia, were sickened and two have died, including a child, after being infected with that pathogen. Lavender Aromatherapy Spray Tests Positive For Burkholderia pseudomallei

Better Homes & Gardens Aromatherapy Spray, Sold at Walmart, is Suspected in Four Illnesses, Resulting in Two Deaths Lavender aromatherapy spray has tested positive for deadly Burkholderia pseudomallei bacteria, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Testing found the pathogen in Better Homes & Gardens Lavender & Chamomile Essential Oil Infused Aromatherapy Room Spray with Gemstones. The spray was found on October 6, 2021 in the home of a Georgia resident who got sick with melioidosis in late July, 2021. FDA Notice of Tanimura & Antle Romaine Recall For Possible E. coli

The FDA has published a notice of single heads of Tanimura & Antle romaine recall for possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination. Earlier today, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development posted a notice stating that E. coli O157:H7 bacteria had been found on that romaine lettuce. The product packed on dates are 10/15/2020 or 10/16/2020 and the UPC number is 0-27918-20314-9.. The FDA notice states that "there have been no reported illnesses associated with this recalled product," and the Michigan notice stated that the bacteria found on the Tanimura & Antle romaine is "closely related genetically" to bacteria that has sickened two people in Michigan. Walmart and Racetrac Watermelon Chunks Recalled For Possible Listeria

Country Fresh is voluntarily recalling Walmart and Racetrac watermelon chunks and other products that contain the watermelon because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The pathogen was found on equipment used to pack these products. The FDA discovered the Listeria during a recent inspection. No reports of illness have been received by the company to date in association with this recall. The recall is for Walmart and Racetrac watermelon chunks and other items that contain watermelon that were shipped directly to Walmart and RaceTrac's distribution centers stores in some stores located in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Texas.
