Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon is being recalled for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No reports of illness have been received by the company to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recalling firm is Kraft Heinz Food Company of Newberry, South Carolina. About 367,812 pounds of fully cooked turkey bacon products are included in this recall. The turkey bacon was produced from April 24, 2025 through June 11, 2025. Ramsey’s Diner Missy’s Pies Salmonella Outbreak Sickens 10

A Ramsey's Diner Missy's Pies Salmonella outbreak has sickened at least 10 people, according to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department. The health department was told about the illnesses on June 27, 2025. No specific ingredient has been singled out as the cause of these illnesses, but each patient had eaten at least one meal at different Ramsey's Diner locations between June 17 and June 20, 2025. Each person ate different entrees, but all consumed either a custard based pie topped with meringue or a cheesecake; they were made with eggs. Samples of pies and eggs have been collected for testing. The FDA has weighed in on the end of the Bedner cucumber Salmonella outbreak, which has sickened ant least 69 people in 21 states. Many secondary recalls were issued in response to this outbreak. The patient case count per state is: Alabama (1), California (1), Colorado (1), Florida (7), Georgia (10), Illinois (5), Indiana (1), Kansas (1), Kentucky (1), Massachusetts (3), Maryland (1), Michigan (2), Mississippi (1), North Carolina (4), New Jersey (3), New York (4), Ohio (6), Pennsylvania (7), South Carolina (6), Tennessee (1), and Virginia (3).
