Raw Farm Raw Cheddar Cheese E. coli Outbreak Sickens 10

A Raw Farm raw Cheddar cheese E. coli outbreak has sickened at least 10 people in four states, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Four people have been hospitalized because they are so sick. Raw Farm LLC has agreed to recall products and is working with the FDA. One pound and half pound blocks of the cheese, and half pound shredded cheese was recalled on February 17, 2024. The case count by state is: California (4), Colorado (3), Texas (1), and Utah (2). Types of Rizo-Lopez Foods Recalled For Possible Listeria

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published an overall list of the types of Rizo-Lopez foods that have been recalled in the wake of a deadly Listeria monocytogenes outbreak. Both FDA and USDA regulated foods are included on this list. The outbreak has sickened at least 26 people in 11 states. Twenty-three of the patients have been hospitalized, and two people have died. The case count by state remains at: Arizona (4), California (8), Colorado (4), Florida (1), Georgia (1), Nevada (1), North Carolina (1), Oregon (1), Tennessee (2), Texas (2), and Washington (1). A deadly Listeria outbreak is linked to Rizo-López Queso Fresco and Cotija cheese, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Eleven states are included in this outbreak. As a result of this investigation, Rizo-Lopez Foods recalled all cheeses and other dairy products made in their facility, including cheeses, cream, and yogurt. The FDA has weighed in on the end of the deadly HMC Farms Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that is linked to the company's peaches, nectarines, and plums. Eleven people in seven states were sickened. Ten people were hospitalized, and one person who lived in California died. The case count by state was: California (3), Colorado (1), Florida (3), Illinois (1), Kansas (1), Michigan (1), and Ohio (1). The patient age range was from 30 to 80 years. Illness onset dates ranged from August 22, 2018 to August 16, 2023. Of ten people who gave information to public health investigators, all were hospitalized. Now 354 Kids Sick in WanaBana Purees Lead Poisoning Outbreak

There are now 354 kids sick in the WanaBana purees lead and chromium poisoning outbreak, according to the CDC. The FDA has found chromium in those products. There are 93 confirmed cases of lead poisoning, 233 probable cases, and 28 suspect cases. The Victor Pet Food Salmonella outbreak has ended with at least seven people sick in seven states, according to the CDC. One person was hospitalized. Several types and brands of dog and cat food were recalled in relation to this outbreak. The recalled pet foods were Mid America Pet Food, all dog and cat food with best by dates before 10/31/2024 and multiple bag sizes including: 5 pounds, 15 pounds, 16 pounds, 30 pounds, 40 pounds, and 50 pounds.
