Joy Jolt Declan Glass Coffee Mugs are being recalled because they can pose a burn and laceration hazard. The glass mugs can break and crack when they are filled with hot liquids. There have been 103 reported incidents of the glasses breaking at the base, causing 56 injuries, including 35 burns across the body from spilled hot liquids, and 21 cuts. Seven of those incidents recalled medical attention, including surgery and stitches. The recalled product is Joy Jolt Drinkware Declan Single-Wall Glass Coffee Mugs. The model number is JG10242. New Salmonella Typhimurium Outbreak On FDA CORE Table

A new Salmonella Typhimurium outbreak has been added to the FDA's CORE Outbreak Table, joining four other outbreaks under active investigation. Three of the outbreaks are unsolved. The new Salmonella Typhimurium outbreak has sickened at least 47 people. No food has been linked to this outbreak yet. The FDA has not yet initiated traceback, initiated inspections, or collected samples for testing. The outbreak linked to Diamond Shruumz microdosing chocolates remains unchanged, with 26 people in 16 states ill from an unknown pathogen or toxin. Sixteen of those patients have been hospitalized. Snapchill Canned Coffee products are being recalled for possible botulism contamination. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date, and Snapchill is not aware of any instances in which the company's products actually contain the toxin. The recalling firm is Snapchill of Green Bay, Wisconsin. All of the company's canned coffee products are included in this recall, within expiration date, because their current process could lead to the growth and production of the botulism toxin. A possible hepatitis A exposure at Ace Hardware store in Rome, New York may have exposed people to this very contagious virus, according to the Oneida County Health Department (OCHD). A person who tested positive for the virus conducted a food demonstration at that store on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and Saturday, June 8, 2024. That means that anyone who sampled food at that store on June 8 must get vaccinated against hepatitis A by June 22, 2024, because the vaccine is most effective if given within two weeks of exposure. The Infinite Herbs Basil Salmonella outbreak has ended with 36 people sick in 14 states, and four hospitalizations, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Epidemiologic and traceback data showed that Infinite Herbs organic basil may have been contaminated with Salmonella bacteria and made people sick. This outbreak is over as of June 18, 2024. Outad Good Life Magnetic Chess Games are being recalled because they pose an ingestion hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recalled games, which include 20 magnet pieces, violate the mandatory federal toy magnet regulation because the set contains one or more magnets that fit within the CPSC's small parts cylinder.
