Illnesses are linked to Diamond Shruumz Microdosing Chocolate Bars, according to the FDA. These products are available online and were also sold at smoke and vape shops and at retailers that sell hemp-derived products such as cannabidiol (CBD) or delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-8 THC). The full list of retailers is unknown at this time. The FDA recommends that no one should consume these bars. All flavors of Diamond Shruumz Microdosing Chocolate Bars should be avoided. Symptoms that patients are experiencing include seizures; central nervous system depression, including loss of consciousness, sleepiness, and confusion; agitation; abnormal heart rates; hypertension and hypotension; nausea; and vomiting. The FDA has weighed in on the end of the Rizo-Lopez cheese deadly Listeria monocytogenes outbreak which was declared over by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on April 9, 2024. There were 26 people sickened in 11 states, 23 of those patients were hospitalized, and two patients, who lived in California and Texas, died. There were many secondary recalls issued as a result of this outbreak. The retail list for Listeria Rizo-Lopez dairy products that are linked to a deadly Listeria monocytogenes outbreak has been released by the FDA. The list, that is 24 pages long, includes grocery stores from several states. Most of the stores are in California, but there are also stores in Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington that are included. This list may not include all retail establishments that received the recall product, or may include stores that did not receive the products. The deadly Salmonella cantaloupe outbreak has sickened at least 359 people and killed eight in the United States and Canada. As of December 7, 2023, there are 129 laboratory confirmed cases in Canada, and 230 illnesses in the United States. In the U.S., 96 patients have been hospitalized and there are three deaths: two in Minnesota and one in Oregon. In Canada, 44 patients are hospitalized and there are five deaths. The outbreak has been growing very quickly. Cases doubled in the United States in one week, and in Canada, they more than doubled in that time span. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, Missouri, and Arizona are the states that are the hardest hit in the deadly cantaloupe Salmonella outbreak. Minnesota has the most cases with 20, and two deaths. Wisconsin is next with 18 patients, Texas has 16, Arizona 15, Missouri has 14 patients, and Illinois has 11. In all, there are at least 230 people sick in 38 states. Ninety-six people have been hospitalized, and there are three deaths reported: Two in Minnesota, and one in Oregon.
